Pace takes its name seriously — Papadatos built the collection to recreate the dynamic atmosphere the name suggests, and the copy that accompanies it commits to the idea: versatile as a close-fitting or loose garment, suited equally to a city apartment or a holiday home, warm or lightweight depending on the season, as much at home in Mallorca as in Manhattan. It's an unusually specific piece of positioning for a modular sofa, and it shows up in practice as real flexibility rather than just a catchy name.

That flexibility extends to the seat itself: choose various-density foam on its own for a firmer feel that's easier to maintain, or add goose feather within a special pocketed sheet for a plusher, more luxurious look. Feather cushions naturally develop a slightly looser, less uniform appearance over time — not a flaw, just a characteristic of the material, and one that benefits from an occasional knock and reshape to redistribute the fill. If low maintenance matters more to you than plushness, foam-only is the straightforward choice.

Metal feet in a black chrome finish anchor the whole system, and the base itself can be produced in contrast leather or matched to the rest of the sofa's finish — a real material decision, not just a color choice. The module range is broad: one-arm and no-arm sofa sections, terminals, a combined one-arm-and-chaise-longue piece, a standalone chaise longue, a daybed, and poufs, letting you build anything from a compact city sofa to an expansive holiday-home layout. Covers throughout are fully removable, across a wide variety of natural and synthetic fabrics and leathers.
