Description
Tosca Design gave Spinnaker a name borrowed from sailing, and the reference makes sense once you see it: like a spinnaker sail catching wind above the waves, this bookcase stands out against its surroundings rather than blending in. Freestanding in the centre of a room, it can work almost as a decorative column.
Fixed to a wall instead, it becomes a more conventional design piece, equally at home in a living room, bedroom, office or waiting area. The lacquered steel frame, finished with a bright, metallic surface, is set off by wooden shelves that show off natural grain.
