Description
Amsterdam's doors are its main event: vertical slats of varying widths alternate between two finishes, setting up a rhythmic pattern across the front rather than a single flat surface. A hand-brushed Oxybrass finish runs across the whole structure, while burnt oak inserts sit proud of the door fronts, adding a subtle three-dimensional edge to the design.
Curved steel plates form the feet, reinforcing the play of light and shade across the piece and softening what is otherwise a fairly geometric silhouette. Between the industrial finish and the warmer wood inlays, the sideboard sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary living rooms. A related model, Amsterdam Keramik, swaps the wood inlays for marble-effect ceramic on a metallised frame, and both are offered with 2, 3 or 4 doors.
