Tai Open Air builds its chairs around a rope drawn from mooring lines used in boating: polypropylene rope, woven by hand and stretched over a zinc-coated metal frame, offered in four colours that keep the look understated. A padded seat option sits alongside the fully woven version, available in two weave patterns for both seat and backrest.
