Naos is built around a genuine design tension rather than a single dominant shape: a clean, rectangular form meets the gentle curves of the back and armrests, creating something that reads as structured and fluid at once — what Papadatos describes as moving with natural ease. The comfort follows the same logic. Cushions are built to embrace the body with delicate support, aiming less for maximalist plushness than for a considered, settled kind of luxury.
The base is where the material story sharpens: slender, and available upholstered in leather, it's designed to act as a discreet backdrop that lets the sofa's form do the visual work rather than competing with it. Steel legs finished in a brown gloss — a distinct detail from the black chrome used on several other Papadatos sofas — support the structure underneath, built on a solid beech wood frame with marine plywood surfaces. The seat combines various-density foam and memory foam with goose feather in a specially pocketed sheet designed to reduce settling; feather-filled cushions naturally develop a slightly looser, less uniform look over time, which is a normal characteristic of the material rather than a flaw, and benefits from an occasional fluff to redistribute the fill.
The most distinctive detail in the collection is optional: an integrated marble side table, available as one of Naos' modular elements, described by Papadatos as a small sculptural piece that completes the composition rather than an afterthought bolted onto the design. Covers throughout are fully removable — zippered on the cushions, secured by velcro elsewhere — across a wide range of natural and synthetic fabrics and leathers.
