Marmont isn't a new arrival trying to prove itself — it's been in Papadatos' collection since 2017, shown at IMM Cologne and Salone del Mobile Milano across more than one year, the kind of track record that speaks for a design more convincingly than marketing copy could. It's a genuinely modular, corner-configurable system, built around a 4-seater open base with armrests as a starting point and extended through one-arm and no-arm sofa sections, a chaise longue, a daybed, and poufs.
What sets Marmont apart within Papadatos' range is a specific, functional detail: select modules come with a fixed integrated side table built directly in, including a sofa-with-arm-and-table configuration and a standalone table-pouf-with-arm piece. It's a genuinely useful addition rather than a styling flourish — somewhere to set a drink or a book down without adding a separate side table to the room.
Underneath the upholstery, the frame is solid beech wood with marine plywood surfaces, with legs finished in metal. The seat combines various-density foam and memory foam with goose feather in a specially pocketed sheet designed to reduce settling; as with other feather-filled Papadatos pieces, expect a slightly looser, less uniform cushion look over time — a normal characteristic of the material, not a flaw, and one that benefits from an occasional fluff. Covers throughout are fully removable, across a wide variety of natural and synthetic fabrics and leathers.
