Not every modular sofa needs to promise infinite customization to be genuinely flexible. 90.20, designed in-house by Papadatos co-founder Nasos Papadatos, works from eight fixed base sofa sizes rather than a fully open-ended build — and then layers real modularity on top, with corner and end elements, poufs, chaise longues, and a daybed available to extend or reshape the base configuration. The result is a system that scales from a compact sofa for a smaller room up to expansive, double-sided seating arrangements for open-plan living spaces, without asking you to design every dimension from scratch.
The seat itself comes down to a genuine choice: foam-only cushions for a firmer feel that holds its shape with less upkeep, or foam-and-feather cushions for a plusher, more luxurious look and feel. Feather-filled cushions do benefit from occasional fluffing to redistribute the fill and keep their shape — a small maintenance habit rather than a flaw. Covers throughout are fully removable, available across a range of fabric and leather categories, and the whole system stands on sleek steel legs finished in black chrome.
