Description
Peninsula treats a console as a piece of interior sculpture as much as furniture. Three differently sized units form the core set, designed to multiply into countless compositions at variable or uniform heights -- from a compact console suited to an entrance hall to an extended arrangement that runs the length of a corridor.
Unlike a conventional horizontal console, Peninsula projects from the wall toward the centre of the room, putting its metal leg on full display. In the Oxybrass finish, that leg takes on real character: a hand-applied, brushed-effect coating built from fine, uniform scratches, its oxidised brass tone echoing the codes of industrial finishing.
It's a hallway console that reads as considered design rather than simple storage.
