Astra's ribbed glass tube doubles back on itself into two interlocking triangles, a simple geometric move that gives the pendant a strong, minimalist silhouette. Light diffuses softly through the ribbed surface while the gold-lacquered metal frame catches and reflects it, and the design has been recognised with an IDA 25 Gold Design Award.
