Description
Plisset brings together weighty Palissandro marble and the transparency of glass in a design that owes as much to sculpture as furniture. The base's sinuous line, reminiscent of carved drapery in the Greek tradition, creates an unusual sense of harmony and a shifting play of light and shadow as it passes through the glass top.
The design draws on Cattelan Italia's earliest work in marble, and balances that classical heritage with a genuinely modern sensibility for a considered dining room table.
