Description
The Giselle dining chair puts precise woodworking at the centre of the design: the armrest is built as an integral part of the load-bearing frame rather than a fitted extra, so its joinery does double duty as both structure and detail. Tapered legs and a mix of protruding and enveloping forms make it a genuine showcase for solid-wood craftsmanship.
Seat and backrest are kept as separate elements, wrapped and supported by an extension of the rear armrest, which keeps the seat cushion wide and comfortable while the suspended, padded backrest curves gently to follow the back.
