Diapason has been part of the Cattelan Italia range since 1986, and its longevity says something about the design: a marble base carrying a clear glass top, simple enough to sit comfortably in a contemporary room, substantial enough to anchor one. The glass keeps the marble's texture and colour fully visible, so the material does the talking rather than any applied decoration.
